Hospitalized?
If you are a parishioner in the hospital or if
you are aware of one of our parishioners
currently in the hospital, please contact the
church office at 876-3313.

Fr. Clyde visits on Thursdays or
emergencies anytime.  When you register
into the hospital, please tell them that you
are Catholic and your parish is Maria
Immacolata, otherwise, we have no way of
knowing that you are in the hospital.
Choir
Please contact the church office if
interested in joining.   We have a great
choir and can always use more singers.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Please support the businesses on the
back of the bulletin who sponsor our
bulletin.  Without them our weekly bulletin
would not be possible.
RESPECT FOR LIFE
The disabled person is one of us and
participates fully in the same humanity that
we possess.  It would be radically unworthy
of man, and a denial of our common
humanity, to admit to the life of the
community, and thus admit to work, only
those who are fully functional.  To do so
would be to practice a serious form of
discrimination, that of the strong and
healthy against the weak and sick.

                                      SACRED HEARTS
I am happy to share the “good news” that Maria Immacolata Church in Houma has a support program:
Sacred Hearts.

This support program is offered to individuals older than 35 years of age, single, separated, divorced or
widowed on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Gathering Center.

The groups goal is Metanoeo (met-an-o-eh-o) (Gk.) that being: To think differently or afterwards.  We hope
to help individuals who feel alone to face challenges such as: Confused Emotions, Rebuilding Support
Systems, Dealing with Specific Issues and Re-entering the Social Scene.  We have structured the program
meetings with a brief time for socialization and welcome, topic presentations, break out sessions and
closure with time to mingle afterwards.  All are welcome, especially those whose hearts feel alone and
lonely.
