Maria Immacolata Bell Tower Honors Father Richard Hemenway The new memorial bell tower at Maria Immacolata Church in Houma was recently dedicated in memory to Father Richard Hemenway, former pastor, who passed away in 1996. Funds for the memorial were made available from the parishioners and Hemenway's family. A sculpture of a symbolic Christ figure adorns the top of the 40-foot bell tower. |
The tower was designed by Weimer and Boudreaux, architects, and constructed by K&B Machine Works, Inc July 15, 1998 |
